Job Description


Anchorage, Alaska preferably. Open to remote work in any location.


We are looking for someone to build a long-term relationship with, but we would like to start with a smaller scope of work to allow time for us to get to know each other.

This role is for 5-10 hours per week, making it an excellent “side hustle” opportunity.

Broadly, your responsibility is supporting the CEO in realizing the vision of SenecaWorks to be the #1 platform for certifying grant writers and finding talent world-wide. To achieve scale, you will help automate business procedures and routine operations.

Immediate Responsibilities

  • Managing the CEO’s email inbox, filtering emails, responding to inquiries, and flagging emails that the CEO must address directly.
  • Uploading receipts to the company’s accounting system every two weeks. (Using Xero).
  • Picking up company mail and processing it.
  • Managing the delivery of certificates every month to graduates of our online education program.
  • Addressing special temporary projects related to business operations.

Longer Term Responsibilities

  • Learn basic HTML and CSS to update blog posts and basic website content. (We’ll pay for your training if you need to learn it. It’s easier than it sounds!)
  • Lead quarterly book promotional campaigns.
  • Manage travel and other scheduling requirements.
  • Document management.
  • Additional projects and support needed by the CEO.


This position begins at $22.69 per hour.
